Meaning 'friend of the people', Aarven was founded by Bee Friedmann and Amy Fleuriot-Reade. Based in the UK, sustainability and ethical production is at the heart of their brand. Amy designs Aarven’s collections in collaboration with the small-scale artisan groups whom Bee has spent many years building close relationships with. The brand now works with over 30 such groups and individuals across Africa and in India. Bee personally oversees crafting and production to ensure Fair Trade standards are met.
