Traditional tailors shears hot-forged from high carbon tool steel. With two knife edge blades these shears will cut a wide variety of medium weight dress and upholstery fabrics. The black gloss handles are set at an angle, allowing the back of the blade to glide across the cutting table. Featuring chromium plated blades with corrosion protection on the inside and a machined pivot tensioning screw. This design has been perfected by a Sheffield based company, founded in 1760, now the last industrial scissor-maker in the UK. These are wonderfully weighty, quality scissors made to last.
Made in Great Britain.

USE / CARE ADVICE
- For the longevity of best working condition we always advise scissors to only be used for the purpose for which they were designed.
- Carefully wipe the inside of the blades after use with a clean soft cloth, removing any fibres building up between the blades. If used on a frequent basis, apply a drop of light machine oil on a clean cloth to wipe the inside of the blades weekly.
- Always handle with care, dropping or knocking scissors can cause irreversible damage to the cutting edge.
- With proper use it is unlikely that these scissors will need sharpening. If absolutely necessary, it is highly recommended by the manufacturer to have scissors sharpened by a professional. Incorrect sharpening can render the product unusable for its originally designed purpose.
