ABOUT ENAMELWARE

Enamelware is made from pressed steel which is fused with a porcelain enamel to create a durable coating. Treat with the same care you would a glass or ceramic item.

If dropped the enamel may chip, but the item won’t smash or brake due to its steel core. Enamelware is still safe to use if chipped, the exposed steel will simply oxidise and develop patina.
